🛑 STOP - Take a moment before giving personal information to anyone
📑 CHECK - Verify and make sure the organisation is legitimate
🔐 PROTECT - Update any compromised passwords and make sure access is secure with multi-factor authentication.
If you're not sure about something you've received or been asked to do, make sure to verify the source first.
Fake emails, online schemes, fraudulent phone calls - we've seen it all and know how tricky it can be to know what's real and what's not.

What does that mean for you?
No more security updates means your device could be at risk to viruses or malware, and possible compatibility issues with new software.
Easy, I'll just upgrade to Windows 11 😏

Tax time = Scam time! 🚨
Not sure if an email or text message is real? Don't risk it!
* Don't click links in unexpected emails or texts
* Check the sender's address – scams often look slightly “off”
* Watch for urgent or threatening language
* Access your myGov directly – type the URL, don’t use shortcuts
* Report suspicious messages to Scamwatch or the ATO
The biggest risk is allowing a scammer to access your device by providing them with unexpected access.
